Business Support & Hospitality Assistant

Part-time | Approx. 16 hours per week

We're a small, friendly team passionate about great food, genuine hospitality, and attention to detail. As we look ahead and develop the business, we're looking for some great people to join us.

We're looking for a highly organised, accurate and reliable person to assist the owner with the day-to-day running of our office.

The role includes:

• General administration and office support.
• Simple bookkeeping and accounts administration.
• Keeping records and tasks organised and up to date.
• Emails, telephone calls and correspondence.
• Some social media and marketing support.

You'll need:

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Confidence using Microsoft applications.
• Ideally, experience with Xero or similar accounting software.
• Good numeracy and basic bookkeeping skills.
• Initiative, flexibility and a positive attitude.

We're a very small team, so everyone helps across the business when needed. For this role that could mean covering reception while carrying out office duties, checking in a guest or serving a drink in the lounge. The amount will vary depending on the needs of the business, and may also provide opportunities for additional hours.

Some evening, weekend and Bank Holiday flexibility will be required.

Previous office experience is preferred; hospitality or small-business experience would be a bonus.

Hospitality is naturally seasonal. Hours are generally greater during the busy spring and summer months and may reduce during the quieter winter period. We aim to offer as much consistency as possible.
