We are looking for a Chef to join our friendly team at The Highdown Inn & B&B, a beautiful traditional country pub set in outstanding natural surroundings on the West Wight. Well known for our charm, history and welcoming atmosphere, we’re proud to be one of the Island’s best-rated pubs.

We’re a small, hands-on team where everyone gets involved in preparation, cooking and cleaning down after each service. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a supportive team and can confidently step up when needed.

About the Role

As our Chef, your duties will include:

• Cooking breakfasts for our B&B guests

• Assisting our Head Chef during service

• Preparing food to a high standard

• Cleaning food preparation areas, equipment, crockery and cutlery

• Being able to run the kitchen independently when the Head Chef is off or on holiday
