Learning Support Assistants

  • £12.87 per hour, plus additional payment of holiday allowance for every hour worked
  • Term-time only 34 weeks
  • Flexible hours available up to 24 hours contracts per week to be worked Monday to Friday

What this role is really about .....

This is more than a support role — it’s about building trust, creating belonging, and changing futures.

You will:

  • Provide personalised 1:1 and small group support, enabling learners to access education in a way that works for them
  • Support students emotionally as well as academically, helping them to build confidence, independence and resilience
  • Adapt learning approaches to meet individual needs and remove barriers
  • Be a consistent, reassuring presence — someone learners can rely on
  • Work alongside passionate colleagues in a culture rooted in care, respect and collaboration

You might be:

  • Already experienced in supporting learners with additional needs
  • Starting out in education, care or support roles
