Millenium Windows in Ryde are looking to recruit a Customer Service Apprentice.

Millenium Windows are a small and friendly employer, that designs and installs door, windows and conservatories.

This is a great opportunity to learn the Upvc installation trade, whilst also studying for a professional qualification with HTP Apprenticeship College.

The successful applicant will be undertaking the Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Qualification.

Please note this is an Apprenticeship Position and will only be suitable for those that have not had a great deal of Customer Service experience previously.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Dealing with enquiries via email, phone and social media

·       Dealing with callers/customers in the shop

·       Booking appointments for quotes, surveys etc via a calendar based system

·       Work load planning

·       Serving customers over the trade counter

·       Helping fitters to load up there work in the morning

·       Unloading deliveries from suppliers throughout the day

·       Checking in goods, and storing them accordingly

·       Stock checking and rotation

·       Ordering Stock

Desired Skills:

The role needs someone who is physically fit, as a lot of carrying and moving of goods is required.

The successful candidate will be keen, enthusiastic and willing to learn.

They must be honest and trustworthy, and a friendly team player.

Otherwise, just someone who likes working with people, and has passion, personality and a desire to learn and progress.

Hours:

Trading hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Initially, the apprentice will start on 30 hours.

Candidates will need to have achieved Maths and English at GCSE or equivalent grades A-C (9-4) or Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English before completing the qualification.
