 We are delighted to create this opportunity for a new manager to join our already successful management team at Blackgang Chine. The Grounds & Facilities Manager will add value and experience to enhance our overall customer experience.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the grounds, facilities and general maintenance activities across Blackgang Chine. With a main focus on our planned and reactive maintenance tasks.

We’re looking for an experienced professional with a proven track record of managing people, products and facilities in either a construction, attraction or hospitality environment. You’ll be planning and implementing a maintenance programme to maintain all areas of the park in line with current legislation and agreed operating standards.

About you

• You’ll be an experienced manager of people, products and facilities. Demonstrating a broad range of management skills and a successful career to date.
• A solid background in, both hands on and management of construction/facilities maintenance is essential, with a broad range of relevant skills including project and budget management.
• You’ll be able to demonstrate the ability to manage/oversee multiple projects of varying scales.
• You’ll be happy to take ownership of your team, department and workload. Taking accountability for performance, timescales and standards of work.
• Competent in all aspects of Microsoft Office and a proficient user of other management software. Our planned maintenance schedules are managed through an attraction management system called MOBARO.
• Working in an industry with legislative compliance would be a great advantage.
