Hours: 36.25 hours per week, 9am - 5pm term-time only (15-minute morning break and 30-minute lunch break)
This position is fixed term for one year in the first instance. The starting date is September 2025
Gurnard Primary School is a successful two-form entry primary school set in a stunning coastal location and graded Outstanding in three areas by Ofsted in February 2025. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Sports Coach with a strong commitment to inspiring children to enjoy sport.
The successful candidate will need to have:
- The ability to plan and deliver high quality sessions to children from Reception to Year 6
- The ability to organise sports fixtures and lead after school sports clubs
- experience of working with children
- the ability to work well in a team
- a positive, flexible, ‘can do’ attitude
- loads of energy for children that want to learn and play
- Values that match that of our school – Respect, Success, Belonging
