We are looking to appoint excellent, enthusiastic and self-motivated support staff to join our staff team, willing to uphold the Christian ethos and support the aims and values of Newport & Carisbrooke CE Primary Schools. Learning Support Assistants
£16,237 to £17,353 (pay award pending)
(dependent on experience)
31 hrs a week - term time only
5 posts across the 2 schools
Working alongside the class teacher to deliver high quality teaching and learning in all areas of the curriculum. The post includes general learning support as well as supporting groups or individuals with additional needs. Experience in, and knowledge of, supporting children with additional needs will be beneficial. Each post includes leading an after-school club once a week.
Assistant Sports Coach – Based at Carisbrooke Primary School
Grade dependent on experience / qualifications – up to Hay Grade 6
£19,592 to £20,605 (pay award pending)
32.5 hrs a week – Term time only
Working alongside the sports coach to ensure high quality PE lessons and sports provision including competitions and after school clubs.
An apprenticeship route could be offered for suitable candidates for these posts.
