We are currently hiring Post 16 Support Workers with a variety of hours on offer, from full time to weekend or bank. If successful, you’ll be required to start as soon as your Enhanced DBS clears and references are obtained.

The position is on a rota basis with shifts covering days, evenings, and weekends as we are a 24/7 service. As part of our team, you will deliver the highest standards of support to our residents and we will reward your commitment to excellence with a competitive salary starting at £12.25 ph. rising to £12.75 after 3 months’ probation. Duties & Person Specification:

• You will be able to communicate clearly and sensitively when talking to the young people and their families and Professionals involved.
• You’ll be a great listener too!
• Interpersonal skills are essential, report writing, and incident recording is required so accurate record taking and IT skills are essential.
• You’ve got this! You’ll be able to remain calm under pressure and possess excellent time management awareness.
• You must be able to follow instruction and ensure necessary procedures are adhered to.
• A high level of patience and emotional resilience. Being empathetic and showing kindness must be in your toolkit.
• We have multiple sites across the Island; therefore, this role would benefit someone who can drive and has their own vehicle.
