Grace's Bakery is looking for a friendly member of staff to join the team at Grace's!
We are looking for someone that is able to travel to a number of our shop locations as relief shop supervisor cover support. Therefore, a candidate's ability to travel to Ryde, Newport, Shanklin and Yarmouth is vital.
Days: Any 2-5 days Monday to Saturday (opportunity for more during busy holiday seasons and holiday and sick cover)
Hours: 16+ hours week during shop hours of 7.30am to 4.15pm
Hours are dependant on need for holiday and sickness cover and will fluctuate week to week.
Rate of Pay: £12.10 per hour
The Position
- We are looking for someone punctual and reliable
- Minimum 2 days a week (any day Monday to Saturday)
- More days expected to cover sickness and holidays
- Milaege allowance
- Serving customers in a busy shop
- Preparing sandwiches, soup and other food
- Using an espresso machine to make hot drinks (Coffee training provided through Island Roasted)
- Cash handling
- Ordering and stock control in the manager's absence.
- Providing excellent customer service
- Ensuring that the shop is kept clean and tidy throughout the day
- Ensuring that all the products are displayed in a visually appealing way
- Monitor and oversee teams across all shops.
What We're Looking For:
- Being punctual and reliable is important
- Flexibility with schedule is vital for the nature of this role
- Ability to travel to our 5 branches/has own transport
- Someone who is happy to be on their feet
- Excellent customer service skills
- Someone who has excellent attention to detail when keeping the shop clean and presentable
- Must be able to work weekdays and Saturdays
- Previous experience in a customer service role and some knowledge of food safety is desirable
