Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manager located in Bembridge, Isle of Wight. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, providing customer service, and maintaining product inventory. Key tasks include assisting customers with sales, helping monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring the store is well-organized, training staff, and resolving customer queries and issues should they arise.

 Qualifications

• Experience in retail management and customer service
• Strong organizational, leadership, and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in inventory management and merchandising
• Ability to analyse sales data and contribute to marketing strategies
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work on-site in Bembridge
• Existing knowledge of sailing preferred.
• Experience in the hardware or DIY industry is a plus
