We are looking for somebody who wants to be part of this forward thinking Finance team. This exciting role will be part of the Corporate & Technical Team within the Finance Directorate, directly supporting the Financial Accounts related, accounting requirements of the Council.

You will thrive on working with precise accuracy and diligence involving material monetary values. The role will use various software systems to support treasury and other financial analysis, reporting and recording of transactions into the Council’s SAP finance system. The role supports the Finance Manager in the development of strategies and performance reporting in business-critical areas of finance, and you will have access to professional advisors and regulatory body advice.

You must be Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) fully qualified or equivalent. This is a council Grade 9 role with a recent pay award agreed of 3.2%.
