We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Travel & Tourism Lecturer, joining our dedicated crew while one of our team embarks on maternity leave.
The successful candidate will play a key role in inspiring the next generation of Travel, Tourism, Cabin Crew and Hospitality professionals, teaching across Levels 1, 2 and 3 and helping learners progress confidently towards their future careers, apprenticeships or higher education.
About the Role
- You will be responsible for creating engaging, high-quality lessons that bring the world to life for our students. Your teaching will reflect a strong understanding of learner needs, enabling you to motivate, challenge and support individuals from a wide range of backgrounds. You will plan and deliver curriculum-aligned sessions, monitor progress through formative and summative assessment, and provide constructive feedback that helps each learner achieve their potential.
- The position includes involvement in extracurricular activities and educational trips, as well as participation in departmental meetings, parent evenings and wider college training. Maintaining accurate records and contributing to a student-centred, inclusive learning environment will be key aspects of the role.

About You
We are looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, professionalism and a genuine passion for the Travel & Tourism sector. You should have a relevant Level 3 or above qualification, along with solid industry experience that enhances your teaching. Strong communication skills, good organisation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
A teaching qualification is desirable; however, if you are joining us from industry and do not yet hold one, we will fully support you to gain a Level 3 teaching qualification through our in-house training programme. The Assessor Award (A1) is also beneficial, though again, willingness to work towards it will be considered. Evidence of continued professional development is expected.
