We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join our team at The Isle of Wight College. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to support students in developing confidence and achievement in mathematics across a range of levels.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality lessons across a range of maths subjects and levels.
• Plan and prepare engaging learning materials and assessments.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback and support.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Contribute to the wider life of the department and college community.
About you:
You are a knowledgeable and approachable educator with a genuine passion for mathematics and student success. You can explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible way, adapting your teaching to meet the needs of individual learners.
You are supportive, professional, and committed to creating an environment where students feel encouraged to learn, participate, and achieve their goals.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Minimum Level GCSE Grade 4/C Maths qualification or equivalent, although a Level 5 or Level 6 relevant qualification would be desirable
• Level 2 qualification in English, or willingness to work towards this if not yet achieved
• A relevant Level 5 teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards this within two years of appointment
• An innovative thinker with the ability to engage and enthuse our students
• Good planning, preparation, and organisation skills
