The Isle of Wight College is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Lecturer in Esports and Digital to join our expanding Business and Digital Industries team.
About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and grow our provision, delivering engaging teaching across Level 2 and Level 3 Esports and Level 1 and Level 2 Digital programmes. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of both subject areas, and a passion for creating outstanding learning experiences that prepare students for higher education, apprenticeships and employment.
As a lecturer, you will plan, deliver and assess high-quality learning that combines practical, academic and industry-relevant skills. You will encourage students to become confident, independent learners while helping them develop the professional behaviours, teamwork and resilience that employers value.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has a strong understanding of Esports and Digital technologies.
• Is passionate about teaching and inspiring the next generation.
• Creates engaging, inclusive and innovative learning experiences.
• Believes in putting students first and supporting every learner to achieve their potential.
• Is committed to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
• Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team and is comfortable working across two curriculum departments.
• Is enthusiastic about contributing to curriculum innovation and helping grow an exciting area of college provision.
