Filmmaker / Content Producer – Isle of Wight - Spiralis Energy Ltd

Spiralis Energy is a tidal energy startup based on the Isle of Wight, developing clean, scalable energy tech – starting with our flagship turbine, the Axial Skelter. We’re looking for a creative and proactive filmmaker / content producer to help us tell our story through high-impact video content for social media and beyond.

If you're passionate about visual storytelling, love capturing the outdoors, and want to make a difference in clean energy – this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Filming on location across the UK and internationally at major tidal sites
• Creating short-form content for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube
• Capturing interviews, behind-the-scenes moments, nature and tech in action, and public interactions
• Directing short, street-style scenes and vox pops with the public
• Pitching and developing fresh content ideas that make tidal energy engaging and accessible
• Editing all footage into polished, ready-to-post videos

What We’re Looking For

• Confident camera skills and a strong eye for storytelling, pacing, and flow
• Experience producing social-first video content (especially short-form)
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (some travel required)
• Comfortable speaking with people on camera and capturing unscripted moments
• Familiarity with audio equipment and mic setup
• Video editing experience (e.g., Premiere Pro, CapCut, etc.)
• Bonus: Drone skills – or a willingness to learn!
