Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester

Premier Motors | Newport, Isle of Wight

£28,000–£40,000 DOE | Permanent | Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30

Premier Motors is growing, and we’re looking for experienced people to strengthen our Aftersales team in Newport.

We’re currently recruiting for two positions: an experienced Vehicle Technician and a qualified MOT Tester.

Our commercial workshop also supports major local fleets, including the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service, so you can expect genuine variety – from routine servicing and MOTs to diagnostics, complex repairs and the latest hybrid and electric vehicle technology.

Whether you’re an experienced Vehicle Technician looking for your next move or a qualified MOT Tester ready for a new opportunity, we’d like to hear from you.

For the MOT Tester role, you’ll also need:

  • A current DVSA MOT Tester qualification (Class 4).
  • Strong knowledge of current MOT regulations and vehicle safety standards.
  • The ability to accurately identify, assess and record vehicle defects.
