LCM Systems have recently been acquired by Interface, Inc., a high accuracy load cell manufacturer based in the USA, who are committed to investing in the expansion of LCM Systems as their European hub.
The Role
We are currently looking for a capable individual to work in our busy production department. We are looking for a hands-on person with a passion for manufacturing and a drive for excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a crucial role in the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
* Manufacture of load cells and associated instrumentation
* Wiring of strain gauges and associated wiring techniques
* Ability to successfully solder small delicate components
* Preparation of cables and gland/connector assemblies
* Electro-mechanical assembly of electronic instrumentation
* Ability to recognise and work to assembly drawings, parts lists, specifications and manufacturing instructions
Requirements
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a high level of dexterity and attention to detail, be self motivated, able to work individually or as part of a team, and have excellent communication skills and good time management skills.
Experience/Qualifications
Previous experience of working with strain gauges or soldering delicate components is desirable but not essential. Full in-house training will be provided.
