Vectis Refrigeration is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join our team.

We are an Isle of Wight based refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump service business, working with commercial clients across hospitality, retail, schools, healthcare, manufacturing and holiday parks.

This is a proper engineering role for someone who can fault find, think for themselves and take pride in doing the job correctly.

The role

You will be carrying out:

• Reactive refrigeration service and breakdowns
• Planned preventative maintenance
• Fault finding and repairs on commercial refrigeration systems
• Cold rooms, freezers, display cabinets, cellar cooling and commercial kitchen refrigeration
• Basic AC and heat pump support where experienced
• Clear digital reporting through our job management system
• Client communication on site
• Shared call out rota

What we need

You should have:

• Time served refrigeration experience
• F Gas Category 1
• Strong fault finding ability
• Good electrical and controls understanding
• Full UK driving licence
• Pride in clean, safe and professional work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience with CO2, packs, supermarkets, process cooling, chilled water or heat pumps would be useful, but attitude and competence matter most.
