Simply Jaspers is a family-run, Isle of Wight business producing premium natural pet food. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a practical and reliable Facilities Caretaker to help keep our production facility and surrounding site running smoothly.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for the general upkeep of our industrial unit, carrying out repairs, preventative maintenance, and ensuring the site remains clean, safe, and well presented.
Key Responsibilities
· General building maintenance and repairs
· Basic decorating and carpentry tasks
· Routine equipment and facility checks
· Keeping company vehicles clean and presentable
· Grounds maintenance and external upkeep
· Assisting with improvements to the site and production areas
· Responding to maintenance issues as they arise
· Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
About You
· Practical and experienced with general maintenance work
· Able to work independently and solve problems
· Good attention to detail
· Reliable, organised and hardworking
· Full UK driving licence preferred
· Must have your own tools
