Are you an experienced professional in the Electrical industry with a passion for teaching and mentoring? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Electrical Tutor and Skills Coach to join our team.
About The Role:
As a key part of our team, you’ll have the chance to make a real difference to the lives of learners across the island. You will prepare engaging and effective teaching materials to meet a range of learner’s needs, providing them with the knowledge they need to progress within their future careers.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Electrical Tutor and Skills Coach, you will:
· Manage student records and track progress throughout their course including off the job requirements.
· Use various teaching methods to promote inclusive learning for all.
· To visit and observe students in their workplace to provide support, undertake periodic reviews, gather evidence, and ensure holistic learning experience.
· Provide constructive and timely feedback to learners to promote progression through their programme.
· Tailor additional support and catch-up solutions to meet individual needs and personal and professional goals.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
· Level 2 Qualifications in English and Maths
· A Level 3 Electrical Qualification including the NVQ, or a related subject, or an equivalent relevant professional qualification
· Strong knowledge of general Electrical subjects
· Ability to maintain and adhere to Health & Safety Legislation to secure a safe Learner environment
· Knowledge of recent initiatives in curriculum development and design is desirable, but not essential
