Skipper/Boat Person - The Hut

The Hut are ready for yet another record-breaking season and are on the look for a Boat Person for the coming season. 

Your role will involve picking up and dropping off customers from their boats in Colwell Bay and a range of other duties ensuring no day is the same. 

Hours are working between 30-60 hours a week between May and September

We are looking for experienced skippers with the following qualifications.

• Powerboat Level 2
• STCW, RYA First Aid
• VHF Licence
• Sea Survival Cert
• ML5 or ENG1 medical certificate

* All employees will have a basic pay rate of the national minimum wage for their age group, GMHR will be met for each hour worked through the distribution of service charge and house tips (TRONC), where there are not enough funds in TRONC to meet GMHR, the company will top up pay, should TRONC funds exceed GMHR then this will be distributed resulting in an hourly rate greater than GMHR. 100% of Service Charge and House Tips will be distributed to the team. The limited hours worked during specific, pre-booked, training sessions and during the season set up and break down when the restaurant is closed out of season will be paid at a basic rate.
