Job Title: Experienced Marine Engineer
Location: Wight Marine Ltd, Isle of Wight
Position: Full-Time

Wight Marine Ltd is looking for a skilled and experienced Marine Engineer to join our busy and friendly team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in leisure marine engineering, working with a variety of vessels and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing inboard and outboard engines

• Working with engines, drives, transmissions, and stern gear alongside general electrical and plumbing jobs

• Carrying out maintenance, installations, and refits on leisure craft

• Ensuring all work meets the company’s high standards of safety and quality

Requirements:

• Proven experience in leisure marine engineering

• Strong knowledge of Volvo Penta and Yanmar systems

• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team

• Full UK driving licence preferred
