LCM Systems Ltd is a fast growing manufacturing business, specialising in load measurement solutions that are utilised in many different industries world wide. We are currently looking for an experienced INTERNAL SALES ENGINEER with a proven track record and outstanding sales skills to support the rapid growth of the organisation.
If you are the INTERNAL SALES ENGINEER we are looking for, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence customers at all levels. You will be expected to proactively pursue new sales and have the determination to continually strive for more.

Experience/Qualifications
At least 3 years sales experience with a record of achieving sales targets consistently, and preferably with a technical background. Experience working in the oil & gas, marine or heavy lifting industries would be advantageous.
Role Description
Acts as a first point of contact with the customer, portraying a professionalism and confidence that delivers the ultimate in customer service. Generates new business by working with new and existing customers to ascertain and deliver their requirements and subsequently liaises with them to nurture and grow their business through a relationship-based approach. By applying excellent sales skills the Internal Sales Engineer will capitalise on commercial opportunities through effective negotiations in order to achieve the sales targets set by the management team.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide clear and accurate quotations for current and prospective customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Utilise your technical expertise to ensure the correct and most suitable technical solution is provided.
- Negotiate skillfully, particularly in competitive situations, to ensure LCM Systems is the supplier of choice.
- Follow up quotations to ensure customers are happy with the price, product specification and delivery timescale. Use feedback to address any issues/concerns and ultimately close the sale.
- Provide technical support and resolve any sales related customer queries.
- Proactively seek new business by targeting a combination of LCM’s existing customer base and prospective customers.
- Develop strong relationships with major customers, and in particular with key decision makers.
- Engage with customers on an ongoing basis to accurately assess their needs and define their requirements.
- Ensure effective relationships are in place with sales colleagues and the rest of the LCM team through excellent communication, to ensure all aspects of the customers’ needs are met.
