Job Description

General Electronic Assembly Technician

Job Purpose:

General assembly of electronic instruments and control equipment alongside preparation and manufacture of cable assemblies.

Main Duties include:

  • Assembling electronic equipment
  • Conducting tests and record test results
  • Fault finding and repairs
  • Soldering
  • Maintaining production quality standards
  • To provide help and support to other departments as and when needed to meet customer demand and deadlines

Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in similar field
  • Experience of working to project lead deadlines
  • Good practical and technical skills
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Ability to prioritize and plan effectively
  • Good communications skills
  • Good IT Skills
  • Understanding health and safety standards
  • Problem solving skills

Desirable but not essential:

  • Engineering qualifications Level 3 or above
  • J-SDT
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Role details

Part-Time and Full-Time Considered

Salary is dependent on experience
