Cowes Yacht Haven is a busy and vibrant Marina and Boatyard facility that hosts regatta events and rallies as well as day sailors.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person with a ‘can-do’ attitude who will immerse themselves into our team.

The successful candidate will work with and be supported by our existing team. You will be required to work in all parts of the organization, supporting the marina and boatyard in preparing for regattas and events.

Your duties will include:

·         Marina based tasks such as allocating and berthing vessels.

·         Interacting with customers face to face and electronically.

·         Cash handling.

·         Opening and closing the office and site.

·         Taking enquires via telephone and email and responding in a timely manner.

·         Book berths using the marina software.

·         Carry out maintenance and cleaning tasks to maintain a strong presentation and safe environment for staff and customers.

·         Assisting with moving boats and driving patrol vessels.

·         Assisting across all departments when required.

·         Carry out all duties inline with Company Policy following all compliance and Health and Safety standards.

·         Be able to undertake manual tasks.

Key requirements for this role

Successful candidates must:

·         Be customer focused and willing to get involved in supporting all areas of the business and deliver exceptional customer service. 

·         Be able to work within a team but also be motivated to work without supervision.

·         Be practical and resourceful and have a common-sense approach.

·         Have good experience of boating and knowledge of marinas.

·         Be a confident IT user.

·         Have flexibility within shift patterns which will include bank holidays and weekend work.

Onsite training will be provided.
