Role Summary

As Commissioning Trials Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning of ships.

The sucessful candidate will be responsible for conducting tests required by the classification society and / or body, as well as those necessary to obtain a provisional navigation permit from maritime authorities. You will ensure that the results of dockside and sea trials meet contractual and functional requirements.

Additionally, you will organise and participate in the vessels contractual and accceptance tests alongside the customer and / or their representative, following the criteria and definition outlined in the technical specification or contract.

The ideal Candidate

Will have experience as a seafarer and working within a shipyard. Have excellent technical knowledge of ships, particularly in the field of mechanics; electrical; navigation electronics and refrigeration. 

Be IT literate and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A high level of safety awareness and the ability to analyse and interpret data are also essential skills.
