About the Role
Due to an internal promotion we have an exciting opportunity for someone with vision and enthusiasm to lead our stores team as we continue through a period of growth and evolution. We are looking for someone who is willing to take on the challenge of assessing how we currently manage the receipt, movement and storage of parts here at our East Cowes site with a view to identifying a clear plan for how we can improve and modernise it.
The company is looking to introduce an ERP system to effectively log and track parts from their delivery through to the supply to project production teams at our East Cowes site. Ideally, we are looking for someone with leadership skills, who has participated in introducing an ERP system/stock management system in a previous role and/or, was key user. You must have a solid understanding of stock control, inventory and quality assessment. Experience of Sage 200 would be adventageous though not essential.
Collaboration and team working skills will be critical as you will be working with stakeholders throughout the business to ensure projects have the parts they need, when they need them.
This is a critical role where you will have the scope to make a real difference to the business, contributing to its continuing success.
