Job Description

We seek a versatile and dynamic System Design Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a multifaceted technical environment, combining aspects of systems engineering, circuit design, mechanical engineering, electronics, physics, mathematics, and analysis. The ideal candidate is a natural problem-solver, capable of understanding how different components interconnect to create innovative solutions to our customers' problems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and integrate complex systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Apply a broad range of skills in physics, electronics, mechanics, and mathematics to solve interdisciplinary challenges.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methods to enhance product development and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Approach tasks enthusiastically and open-mindedly, ready to explore uncharted territories in technology and engineering.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and adhere to/create systematic engineering processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A degree in Physics, Electronics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in a role that blends engineering, physics, and analysis elements. Experience in imaging technology is a bonus but not essential.
  • Evidence of practical skills and hobbies outside of academia that demonstrate technical curiosity and innovation (e.g., personal projects or hobbies related to electronics, mechanics, or other relevant areas).
  • Strong foundational knowledge in at least one programming language and familiarity with CAD tools for circuit and mechanical design would be a bonus but are not necessarily essential.
