We are recruiting for a Sales Manager on behalf of a highly successful and long-established high-tech company based on the Isle of Wight.
About the Role:
Our client is looking for a driven and results-oriented Sales Manager to identify and secure new business opportunities across the UK and overseas. This role requires a dynamic professional with a strong background in sales within the engineering and manufacturing sectors. The ideal candidate will be an independent self-starter who thrives on winning business and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:

New Business Development – Proactively seek out and secure new business opportunities to drive company growth.

Sales Execution – Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.

Client Relationship Management – Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

Market Research & Analysis – Identify industry trends, market shifts, and new business opportunities.

Proposal & Presentation Delivery – Prepare and present compelling sales pitches and proposals to potential clients.

Collaboration – Work closely with technical and operational teams to ensure seamless execution of solutions for clients.

Reporting – Provide regular updates on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience:

Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within engineering, manufacturing, or digital transformation solutions.

Strong understanding of Siemens NX CAM and Janus Engineering products (preferred but not essential).

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Self-motivated with a strategic mindset and ability to work independently.

Willingness to travel across the UK/ Internationally to meet clients and attend industry events.
