Due to our expanding business, we are searching for a Quality Inspector.
Full time 37.5 hrs per week with an early finish on a Friday.
Salary will be dependent on experience / qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections on machined components.
- Use manual measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
- Accurately interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Maintain inspection records.
- Identify and report non-conformances, supporting continuous improvement efforts
- Work closely with production to resolve quality issues if required.
Desirable:
- Experience inspecting metal components
- Proficient in the use of manual inspection tools.
- Strong understanding of geometric tolerancing and engineering drawings.
-Good communication skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- High attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward quality standards.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision with switching to and from multiple tasks throughout the day.
