Job Title
Quality Controller (Part-time)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Quality Controller to maintain and improve our Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and driving continuous improvement across the organisation.
Main Duties
• Quality Management System (QMS):
• Maintain and update QMS documentation in line with ISO 9001 (or other applicable standards)
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements
• Audits & Compliance:
• Plan and conduct internal audits
• Co-ordinate external audits and certification processes
• Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation and implement corrective actions
• Training & Awareness:
• Deliver quality-related training to staff
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement
• Reporting:
• Provide regular quality performance reports to senior management
• Track KPIs and implement improvement plans
Skills & Experience
• Proven experience as a Quality Controller or similar role
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant standards
• Experience with internal and external audits
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Good Microsoft (Office) skills
Role Details
• Employed and Self-Employed considered
• 8-12 Hours per month
• Salary dependent on experience
• Location: Vittlefields Technology Centre, Forest Road, Newport, Isle of Wight
