Role Overview:
As the Project Scheduler, you will play a pivotal role in the successful planning and execution of our projects. Your mathematical mindset, strong proficiency in Excel, and ability to manage project timelines will ensure that we stay on track and meet critical deadlines. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders to anticipate the impact of changing milestones, helping to maintain smooth project progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all key milestones are accurately tracked and updated.
  • Monitor project progress and identify risks when timelines shift, ensuring stakeholders are alerted to any potential impacts.
  • Use Excel and other tools to manage complex data sets and timelines, providing clear reporting and insights.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure alignment between project goals, resources, and deadlines.
  • Analyze and interpret technical drawings and plans to anticipate scheduling needs and constraints.
  • Adjust project schedules in real time to accommodate changes, ensuring minimal disruption to overall project timelines.
  • Provide detailed reporting on project milestones, deadlines, and potential risks, ensuring timely communication with relevant teams.

Qualifications:

  • Strong mathematical skills with the ability to quickly analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and tools.
  • Familiarity with technical drawings and the ability to interpret them.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to think critically under pressure.
  • Experience in project scheduling or project management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with scheduling software is an advantage but not essential.
