Rheinmetall Electronics UK (REUK) Ltd design and manufacture advanced electronics products and systems. The company operates internationally in the communications, defence, security and government services market, and is established as a world-leader in digital signal and video processing on embedded systems.
The company is building upon the commercial success achieved to date, and now needs to appoint an enthusiastic individual to support the management of a rapidly growing inventory.
The production organisation within the business is responsible for manufacture and release of hardware products. Goods must be produced to a consistent standard that meets not only explicitly stated customer needs, but also expectations associated with statutory, regulatory and even internally defined requirements. The role of each production technician is therefore to apply their experience and practical knowledge to repeatably produce items to these standards.
In addition to the manufacture of goods, the production organisation takes great pride in working together to pursue continuous improvement in all aspects of the business. Technicians are encouraged to proactively identify and detail any problems or opportunities they may come across whilst executing their duties. Opportunities are provided for collaboration with other business stakeholders to conceive, develop and implement robust improvements that contribute towards an efficient, defect-free operation.
As part of our efforts to continually develop our positive quality culture, operatives are also regularly invited to participate in activities such as process auditing, to help develop awareness of business activities outside of their own department. Through continual investment into the experience and awareness of employees throughout the operations team, we strive to ensure that the production team remains considerate and responsive to the needs of both internal and external customers.
