We are recruiting for a Production Manager to head up the facilities at a highly respected local brand with a superb reputation and big plans for the future.
This role offers an opportunity to play an integral part of the long term vision of the business including being involved with product development, inventory planning and the continuous introduction and improvement of Lean Manufacturing processes to secure its success for years to come.
The successful candidate will be a highly people focused manager with proven experience in a fast paced and high volume environment where attention to detail and quality management is key.
This opportunity would suit a Production Manager or Supervisor looking expand their skill set into a unique industry that holds its ethics and impact on the environment in the highest regards.
We’re looking for people with the following skills and experience:
- Experience as a Production Manager/Supervisor in a high-volume environment.
- An excellent working knowledge of production systems and processes
- Experience of working with suppliers and third party contractors
- Proven experience in planning and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A good understanding of quality control
- Lean manufacturing knowledge would be highly advantageous
