IFPL are seeking a detail-oriented Inspector who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow with us. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring that incoming materials, components, sub-assemblies and final products meet quality standards, drawing and specifications. The role is essential in maintaining the integrity of our products and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Goods Inwards Inspection:

• Conduct thorough inspections of bought-out and sub-contract parts ensuring they conform in all aspects to relevant drawings and specifications.
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders and technical specifications.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and update relevant documentation in the quality management system.
• Collaborate with the procurement and production teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Complete records to IFPL QA standards.
• Ensure that GI paperwork is completed and filed

Final Inspection:

• Inspect finished products before dispatch to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct dimensional checks, visual inspections, and functional tests as required.
• Identify defects or deviations and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure all necessary documentation, such as inspection reports and certificates of conformity, are completed accurately.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to address any quality concerns.
• Ensure products are bagged and ready to ship to achieve the customers on time and quality requirements.

Role & Responsibilities

• Understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and measurement tools.
• Knowledge of COP’s
• Goods-Inwards Inspection is defined by COP/011.
• Final inspection process is defined in COP/009.
• Inspection authorisation is defined in COP/010.
• Follow inspection techniques, including visual, dimensional, and mechanical testing.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to liaise with Quality Manager, Purchasing, Operations Manager, Team Leader and Engineering teams
• Proficiency in using computer systems for documentation and reporting.
