We would like to add to our team at our Newport (Isle of Wight) factory and have a position for an Assembly Technician to work on mechanical assembly, plumbing and fitting work. Previous experience in any of these areas would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.

Candidate

We are looking to recruit a permanent full time Assembly Technician to join our current Production Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling high quality environmental control systems.

The role would suit candidates who pay attention to detail, are proficient with the use of hand tools, with a good level of manual dexterity and are interested in working with a variety of processes where initiative and a flexible approach are necessary.

Work profile

Candidates will join a production team consisting of a Team Leader and other Assembly Technicians. Duties will include:

· Performing a variety of mechanical and assembly operations

· Brazing and fitting pipework

· Various plumbing duties

· Assembling unit framework systems

Immediate start. 38.75 hours per week (Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 16:00, Friday 07:00 - 11:45).
