Our client, a well-respected property developer on the Isle of Wight, is looking for a skilled Multi-Skilled Carpenter / Site Supervisor to join the team. They are looking for someone who has the highest quality workmanship and takes pride in their work with an excellent attention to detail. They need a tradesman who not only can produce outstanding quality carpentry, but someone who can manage projects from start to finish whilst liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure a smooth running of each project.

What You'll Be Doing

• General carpentry (hanging doors, skirting, kitchens, bathrooms stud walls).
• Supervising the site and managing projects.
• Problem-solving on-site and making sure jobs get completed to the highest standard.
• Managing subcontractors and suppliers.
• Supporting other trades where needed. 

What They are Looking For

• A highly skilled carpenter with multi-trade experience.
• Someone who is reliable, proactive, and can think on their feet.
• Experience with running sites and managing tradesman.
• Someone who can motivate a team and work well in a team.
• Excellent organisational skills and the confidence to liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Full Clean driving license (you will be working across the island).
