Gardening Cover:

The Role:

Cover during periods of leave such as sickness and holidays. Assiting the existing team with garden maintenance, waste runs and project work.

Skilled horticultural work in our customers gardens working with our gardening teams. To maintain and care to a high standard on a regular basis a varied mix of gardens across the Isle of Wight. Working mainly as part of a team, and occasionally alone, with a share of company vehicles and equipment.

Driving of works vehicles; manual and electric vans, so applicant must have full and clean drivers licence.

You will need your own vehicle to meet up with the teams needing assistance.

Our Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience of similar role, with a minimum 3 years comparable work experience and qualifications such as NVQ level 2 in horticulture. Relevant horticultural experience and knowledge.

An interest and knowledge in organic and veganic gardening practices is really helpful, and more training can be given.

Competency and experience of using gardening machinery, ladders and hand tools.
