We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Weekend Housekeeper to join our team at The Limes – a warm, family-run care home with a long-standing reputation for exceptional care and a true sense of community.

About the Role

As a Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant, you’ll help to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our home. This includes keeping resident bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas fresh and welcoming, as well as ensuring personal laundry and household linen are cared for to a high standard. You’ll be supporting infection control practices and contributing to the warm, homely feel that makes The Limes so special.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning resident rooms and communal spaces to a high standard
• Washing, drying, ironing, and returning residents’ personal laundry and household linen
• Supporting infection control procedures and best practice
• Working efficiently to daily and weekly housekeeping and laundry schedules
• Helping create a warm, safe, and positive environment for residents and visitors

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, reliable, and available to work weekends (with the option of an additional shift during the week)
• Hardworking with an eye for detail
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
• Committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming home environment

Experience in housekeeping, laundry, or cleaning is helpful, but not essential — full training will be provided.
