Support Worker Roles – Isle of Wight

Multiple Full-Time Opportunities Available

Milford Del Support Services is currently recruiting Support Workers across a range of services on the Isle of Wight. We are looking for compassionate, reliable individuals who are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

These roles support individuals with varying needs, including community-based support, complex care, children’s services, and 24-hour support packages.


The Role

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs

  • Promote independence, wellbeing, and choice

  • Support daily living activities and community access

  • Work as part of a wider team to deliver safe and consistent care

  • Maintain professional boundaries and follow care plans and policies

Some roles may include sleep-in shifts or wakeful night shifts, depending on service needs.


Current Opportunities Include

We are recruiting for:

  • Community-based support roles

  • Residential and supported living services

  • Children’s services

  • Day support roles

  • Wakeful night roles

  • Roles requiring sleep-in availability

Exact duties, shift patterns, and service requirements will be discussed at interview.


Requirements (Role Dependent)

Depending on the role, applicants may need to:

  • Be female (where this is a genuine occupational requirement)

  • Hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to drive

  • Be flexible to complete sleep-in shifts or wakeful nights

  • Have relevant experience (preferred but not essential)

  • Live locally to the service area (for some community roles)

All applicants must:

  • Be eligible to work in the UK

  • Be willing to undergo enhanced DBS checks

  • Demonstrate a caring and professional approach

Full training and ongoing support are provided.
