Looking for a career where you can truly make a difference?

At Ryde House Group, every day is an opportunity to positively impact someone's life and build a career you can be proud of while you do it.

About Us

We're proud to be one of the Isle of Wight's leading providers of support services for individuals with learning disabilities and autism. With over 300 dedicated staff members, we're a welcoming, supportive, and passionate organisation committed to delivering outstanding person-centred care.

The Role

As a Support Worker, no two days are ever the same.

You'll support the people we care for with their daily routines, encourage independence, and help them enjoy meaningful experiences. On one day, you may be supporting someone with college attendance; another day, you may be staying in to watch a movie or joining them on fun day trips out!

This is a role where you'll see the difference you make every single day, helping individuals live fulfilling, happy, and empowered lives.

No Experience? No Problem.

You don't need previous experience to join our team.

If you're compassionate, patient, eager to learn, and genuinely passionate about supporting others, we'll provide all the training you need through our extensive in-house development programme.

Already have experience? Great! Depending on your background, we may also consider you for opportunities such as Senior Support Worker roles.

Career Progression

We believe in investing in our people and promoting from within.

Many of our current managers and senior staff members started their careers with us as Support Workers before progressing through internal development opportunities. With ongoing training, mentoring, and support, we’ll help you build a career you’re proud of.

  • Enhanced bank holiday rates
  • Internal promotions
  • Discounted gym membership
