Multiple positions available

We are recruiting up to 4 permanent Support Workers at Goldings Resource Centre to distribute our vacant hours; we are open to consider both part-time or full-time requests and happy to discuss weekly hours with applicants.

Following significant investment, our newly refurbished Gouldings Resource Centre in Freshwater is looking for Support Workers. A scenic 20-minute journey from Newport and directly on a main bus route, we are looking to recruit permanent team members to join us to deliver outstanding Reablement support alongside Crisis and Respite Care to the 23 people who use our services.

You will work directly with the people staying at the home to identify and achieve their own goals and help them on their journey to independence. The role is a rewarding, dynamic and versatile. You will be working with individuals and their colleagues ensuring the service we offer is effective to meet people’s needs in a ‘do with’ way rather than a ‘do for’.

We will provide you with unrivalled support through supervision and a fantastic learning and development offer.

If you have a level 2 diploma in health and social care, that’s great but if not, we will help you achieve it.

A good knowledge of literacy and numeracy is also essential but again, we can help you there if you need it.

For Further information, please contact the Gouldings Resource Centre on 01983 433192 and request to speak to the Deputy or Registered Manager.

Alternatively, to discuss the role you can email Caroline King at [email protected]
