We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our warm, welcoming 25-bed care home. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader who is committed to delivering outstanding, person-centred care while inspiring and developing a dedicated team.
As Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and operational excellence. You will play a pivotal role in shaping a positive culture where residents thrive, staff feel valued, and quality is never compromised.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong, visible leadership across the home, fostering a culture of compassion, professionalism, and continuous improvement
- Ensure the home consistently meets and exceeds CQC standards, maintaining full regulatory compliance
- Oversee all aspects of operational management including staffing, budgets, occupancy, and resources
- Lead, mentor, and develop staff teams, ensuring effective recruitment, induction, training, and performance management
- Promote person-centred care that enhances residents’ dignity, independence, and quality of life
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals, and external stakeholders
- Drive quality assurance, audits, and improvement plans to achieve and maintain high ratings
About You
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a residential care setting
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent) – essential
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and best practice in adult social care
- A confident, motivational leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and occupancy
