Role Purpose
To provide high-quality, relationship-led care that enables older adults to remain living independently and happily in their own homes. You will be matched with specific clients based on shared interests to build genuine, long-term connections.
Key Responsibilities
Your evening tasks will be varied and tailored to each client's individual care plan:
Personal care - We offer personal care delivered with dignity and respect, taking the time to understand everyone’s preferences and routines so that support feels natural and reassuring. This includes assistance with washing, dressing, and maintaining personal hygiene, always in a way that promotes confidence and preserves independence
Continence support – We ensure this sensitive area of care is handled with discretion, empathy, and professionalism. We work closely with clients to maintain comfort, dignity, and good skin health.
Nutritional and hydration support - We support with nutrition and hydration, helping clients enjoy regular, balanced meals and stay well hydrated throughout the day. Whether it’s preparing favourite home-cooked meals, encouraging healthy eating habits, or simply sharing a cup of tea and conversation, we recognise the importance of both nourishment and companionship.
Medication support- We ensure medication is delivered safely and reliably, giving clients and their families peace of mind. Our Care Professionals are trained to assist with medication routines, ensuring it is taken correctly and on time, while monitoring for any changes that may need to be reported.
Ensure safety and wellbeing- Above all, we aim to ensure safety and wellbeing in every visit. This means not only supporting physical needs but also being attentive to emotional wellbeing, changes in health, and the overall home environment. We ensure all our clients are safe and comfortable at the end of every visit.
Provide person centred care - We take the time to truly get to know each client, their life story, preferences, and what matters most to them. We take this time so that the care provided is tailored, meaningful, and genuinely enhances quality of life.
Requirements
Values Over Experience: No previous care experience is required. We look for individuals who are kind, reliable, and naturally empathetic with a commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
Transport: A valid UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle is essential due to the rural locations of our clients.
Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a good level of spoken English.
