We are looking for a caring, reliable, and hardworking Housekeeper to join our friendly team at our welcoming 25-bed residential care home. 24hrs a week, alternate weekends. 

As a Housekeeper, you will play an important role in ensuring our home is clean, safe, and comfortable for our residents. Your work will help create a warm, homely environment where residents can feel proud of where they live.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean residents' bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas to a high standard.
• Maintain cleanliness in lounges, dining areas, offices, and staff facilities.
• Carry out laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and putting away residents' clothing and bedding.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures at all times.
• Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance issues or health and safety concerns promptly.
• Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies as required.
• Work closely with the care team to ensure residents' comfort and wellbeing.
• Maintain residents' dignity and respect while working in their personal spaces.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a positive, caring, and friendly attitude.
• Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Is reliable, organised, and able to work independently.
• Has good communication skills.
• Can work as part of a team.
• Previous housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Experience in a care home, healthcare, or hospitality setting is an advantage.
