We are currently looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic trainer, to deliver a wide range of courses to all staff across both a residential and domicillary care setting. This is to ensure that our staff are trained with skills and knowledge they need to ensure safe , person centred care is delivered to those using our services. 

You will have previous training experience in a social care environment and good all round IT skills, be flexible to accommodate staff to keep  thier training up to date . 

Some of your duties will include:

  • Delivering a range of face to face health and social care courses to staff  including but not limited to, Moving & Handling  training, Fire safety, Safeguarding, care skills. 
  • Working in conjunction with on line courses andsuppoting those completing the care certificate. 
  • Complete and maintain accurate records , and ensure all trainig is delivered in line with the company policies.
  • Ensure knowledge of legislations & regulations relating to Health & Social Care are up to date.
  • Regularly review all training and explore different kinds of delivery methods, evaluating and reporting on successes and making recommendations when required.
  • Train the Trainer qualifications in Moving and Handling, - Desirable
  • Previous experience of training delivery in the care sector – Essential
  • Suitable training will be provided for the right candidate in the absence of the above qualifications.
  • Driver and use of vehicle would be an advantage for observations in the community.
