Head of Housekeeping - The Moorings

To lead the housekeeping team and ensure the care home is clean, safe, welcoming, and compliant with hygiene, infection control, and health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise, and support housekeeping staff.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness in residents' rooms, communal areas, and facilities.
• Oversee laundry and linen services.
• Monitor infection control and cleaning procedures.
• Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Carry out quality checks and housekeeping audits.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including COSHH.
• Address housekeeping-related concerns and maintain a positive environment for residents and visitors.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping supervisory or management experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning standards, infection control, and health and safety practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Experience in a care home, healthcare, or hospitality setting is desirable.

As required, including weekends and bank holidays.
