Southern Housing are looking for an Extra Care Scheme Officer to join an exciting and dynamic team, within a growing and forward-thinking organisation. We are looking for someone to join our Care & Independent Living Team and help us to deliver a first-class housing management service to the residents and customers of Ryde Village, Extra Care accommodation on the Isle of Wight

The Extra Care Scheme Officer will be responsible for delivering excellent housing and facilities management to ensure a high-quality housing management service is provided to our residents. We are looking for a strong team player who is able to communicate well with their colleagues and be willing to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. You will also need great organisational skills and a natural empathy for building relationships with people.

You will need a valid driving licence or the ability to effectively and efficiently visit company offices and properties

What you'll need:

  • Awareness of Health & Safety
  • GCSE level or equivalent relevant professional qualification, or qualified by experience
  • Good level of literacy and numeracy skills
  • Driving licence, able to drive and have access to own vehicle
  • Proven commitment of taking responsibility and ability to work on own and as part of a team
  • Excellent IT and communication skills
  • Experience of working in resident services
