The Adelaide Resource Centre is a care home for 24 people in Ryde. We support people who are discharged from hospital or people from their own homes who need reablement, goal focused support. We also welcome people who come in for a planned shorted break stay.

We are looking to appoint a positive, committed and forward thinking individual who will join a small team of Assistant Managers. You will provide comprehensive day to day management of the service, line managing a team of staff, and being the lead duty manager on a shift-based roster system ensuring that a high level of care and support is provided to people. You will liaise with relatives and friends and other professionals to ensure good outcomes for those in our care as well as meeting all legislative requirements.

You will play a key part in delivering a high quality service which has a person centre approach and actively supports and maximises peoples independence. If you are able to demonstrate a good understanding of our work and demonstrable work experience in a care home setting, with a good knowledge of the regulatory process, we would like to hear from you. You will report to the Registered Manager and work with the existing team being responsible for directing staff, administering medication, maintaining health and well being of people and working alongside others positively for the benefit of the people we support.

A minimum of a Level 4 diploma in Health and Social Care is essential for this role.

A full induction and training will be offered along with regular supervisions to support you in this role.
