About the job

This role will oversee goods in, internal stock movements, stock control measures and all day-to-day operations relating to stock control. You will be based in a warehouse environment in Arreton with daily movements across multiple sites close by.

Key accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Attend to deliveries.
  • Ensure the stock and equipment inventory is kept up to date daily, adding stock and equipment to relevant databases as required to maintain accuracy.
  • Ensure all stock and equipment is stored in the correct location.
  • Manage the transfers of stocks between production and storage locations.
  • To arrange incoming storage of stock items.
  • Complete regular scheduled stock takes in storage locations.
  • To maintain the safety and hygiene of base storage location.
  • Complete all works to high standards of quality whilst working within guidelines.
  • Any other ad-hoc stock related duties that maybe required.

Key Competencies, skills, and behaviors for the role

  • Must have Full UK driving licence.
  • Must have forklift licence.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Physically fit and happy to be hands on.
  • Great time management.
  • Organised & detail focused.
  • Be able to operate with minimal supervision.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to respond well, solutions focused.

Salary: £13.00 an hour

Working Week: Standard 24 hours, Monday 8.30-5pm Tuesday to Friday 1 pm to 5 pm.
